Welcome to SCI-Camp!

This summer, SCI-Camp will celebrate its 18th anniversary at the University of Toronto, and promises to be our best year of yet!

Just for Girls

One of our goals is to encourage more girls to pursue their interests in science, engineering and technology. Research demonstrates that girls often learn science and math more effectively in an all-girls environment. For this reason, we offer Girls Week for one week during SCI-Camp at all U of T campus locations. During Girls Week, we offer special presentations, activities and guest speakers that promote self-confidence and encourage interest in science and engineering. If you are interested in enrolling your daughter in Girls Week, look for the butterfly icon while browsing our courses and during registration

Program Structure

SCI-Camp is structured into 8 week-long camps from June 30 to August 22. Each week offers a different course in the area of science, engineering and technology. Each day of SCI-Camp runs from 9 am to 4 pm, with drop-off from 8 am to 9 am and pick-up from 4 pm to 5 pm. From 5 pm to 6 pm, we have an Aftercare Service available for an additional cost of $25 per child, per week of SCI-Camp. For more information about camp fees and our Aftercare Service, please click here

Our Instructors

SCI-Camp is taught by enthusiastic upper-year university students and university graduates in the areas of science, math, engineering and technology. Our instructors engage campers with tons of engineering and science demonstrations, hands-on activities and design projects. Our instructor to student ratio is 1:10. That is, one instructor teaches for every 10 campers. Each SCI-Camp classroom has a maximum of 25 students, ensuring that campers and instructors get plenty of time to interact.
