Enrichment Studies | SCI-Camp

U of T Scarborough Campus / Grades 7 + 8

Designed to introduce children to the world of science, activities explore everything from amazing mysteries to the world’s greatest structures. Science and engineering concepts are carefully woven into fun and interactive activities.

Week 1: June 30th to July 4th

Xtreme Engineering | See extreme engineering at its finest—from magnetic levitation trains to extreme sports. Through a series of design projects, students apply their knowledge to engineer their own extreme creations.

Week 2: July 7 to 11

Biomedical Science | Through high-tech experiments and activities, examine a world where biology and engineering come together to create life-changing medical technology through bioengineering and biotechnology.

Week 3: July 14 to 18

Digitize It! | Brimming with high-tech computer, electronics and robotics-oriented activities, this week gives students a hands-on look at the world of computer science and electrical engineering.

Week 4: July 21 to 25

Aerospace 101 | Through hands-on discovery, students explore the physics and mechanics of flight through an in-depth look at all things airborne—from helicopters to satellites.
